(Hamilton)---Hamilton City School Board has approved new three year contracts with the Hamilton Classroom Teacher's Association and AFSCME Local 468, which represents custodial, maintainence, and food service workers. The unions had worked the last three years under a pay freeze in a tough economy. The new contracts are retroactive to July, and call for a 4% pay hike the first year, 3.5% the second year, and 3% in 2016-17. The teachers have agreed to add 40 minutes to their workday.
