(Hamilton)---Striking workers with the Butler County Childrens Services agency ended their four week old strike Tuesday, despite not having a contract. Union President Rebecca Palmer told reporters that "we simply cannot continue to sit by and watch as the agency's obligations go unfulfilled" before they marched into the Fair Avenue office wearing all black. County Administrator Charles Young said he was glad to see the workers back on the job, and expressed hope that an agreement could be reached soon.
