Torch Run A Big Success

(HAMILTON)---The Butler County leg of the Torch Run for Special Olympics took off from the Government Services Center en route to Middletown this morning. The runners (pictured) then continued north on Route 4 to Springfield, and then on to Ohio Stadium in Columbus for Friday's opening ceremonies of the Ohio Special Olympics. Ohio's Torch Run director, Sgt. Ed Buns with Hamilton Police, says this one of the most successful years so far with over 2,000 law enforcement officers running, raising over $600,000 for Special Olympics.
